Looking for a unique way to bring your team, friends, or family together? Our clay workshop is the perfect option for corporate events, group celebrations, or a memorable get-together with those you enjoy. Join us in the relaxing atmosphere of our Galway studio, where you’ll dive into the timeless art of working with clay and create beautiful pieces together.

Throughout the session, we’ll guide you through various hand-building techniques, including slab construction, coiling, pinching, and more. You'll also get hands-on experience with different decoration techniques, finishing and glazing. We supply all the materials, so you only need to bring your enthusiasm. Pick a date that works for your group and come ready to create, shape, and explore!

Workshop Details

This two-hour workshop is a fantastic introduction to hand-building techniques, where you can shape clay without a potter’s wheel. Under our guidance, you’ll work on your own projects or our suggested ideas to experiment with coiling, slabbing, pinching, and sculpting. By the end of the session, you’ll have one or two unique clay pieces that we’ll fire and glaze for you, ready for pickup in about four weeks.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, our workshop is designed to make everyone feel inspired and engaged. We can adjust the workshop to meet your group’s size, schedule, and skill level to ensure a fantastic time for all.

Where: Dobosceramics Studio in Knocknacarra, Galway (for up to 6 people). We also offer onsite workshops at your workplace.

Cost: €65 per person, with a minimum group size of 6 people.
